— What would the Saints say about this? —
“Overcome any sluggishness you may feel, and the false excuse that prayer can wait for later. Let us never put off this vital source of grace until tomorrow. Now is the right time.”
– St. Josemaria Escriva
“Lent stimulates us to let the Word of God penetrate our life and in this way to know the fundamental truth: who we are, where we come from, where we must go, what path we must take in life…”
– Pope Benedict XVI
“‘Repent and believe’ Jesus tells us. What are we to repent? Our indifference, our hardness of heart. What are we to believe? Jesus thirsts even now, in your heart and in the poor — He knows your weakness. He wants only your love, wants only the chance to love you.”
– St. Teresa of Calcutta
“Lent is about a relationship, the most important one, with God and our neighbor.”
– Fr. John Lombardi

Welcome to the Pray More Lenten Retreat!
We invite you to join us this Lent to prepare to commemorate the Lord’s Passion, Death and the celebration of His Resurrection at Easter.
As a part of this retreat, you will receive access to 16 different talks on prayer, on who God is — and what that means for you, the season of Lent, and lessons from the saints.
That’s about two to three talks for each week of Lent. Each of those talks will also come with a printable study guide that has reflective questions and prayers to accompany the presentation, along with transcripts of all the presentations.
You can participate at your own pace. Some of the talks are 10 minutes long, and some of them are closer to 20. You will be able to watch them whenever you have the time, or to download them and listen to them even while you’re on-the-go.
We hope the Pray More Lenten Retreat will help you to intentionally work on your prayer life this Lent — wherever you are, and whenever you have the time.
Once you register, we will send all the presentations to your email for you to enjoy :)
God bless you!

Fr. Chase Hilgenbrinckis originally from the Bloomington-Normal area where he grew up serving as an altar boy at Holy Trinity in Bloomington, IL. He was also a very gifted athlete as well. Fr. Father played the 2007 season in the first division while completing his fourth and final year in the Chilean league. In two of those years he was selected the league’s most valuable player at the left full-back position. He also spent time with the Colorado Rapids and played for the New England Revolution in the United States Major League Soccer.
He ultimately left it all to enter the seminary to become a Catholic priest and was ordained for Diocese of Peoria by Bishop Daniel R. Jenky on May 24th 2014. After ordination Father served as the Parochial Vicar in Moline and Silvis, Illinois as well as a chaplain at Alleman High School in Rock Island. Fr. Thomas P. Quinn is from Montclair, New Jersey, where he grew up with his four younger sisters. From a young age he was heavily involved at his home parish, most especially in assisting the priests as an altar boy. After graduating from Catholic grammar and high schools, Fr. Tom began university studies in history at Caldwell University, a local Dominican college, where he worked for the theology department and also became involved in the college’s music program. Upon completion of his undergraduate degree, Fr.
